THE HEAVENLY HOME
A place in Heaven, Jesus, has gone to prepare
Oh, what a joy to be with my Saviour up there
Away from this old world of sin and shame
Over in Glory praising His dear name.
Then, all my suffering and sorrow will cease
Up there in Glory I’ll find sweet release
With my dear Parents already above
Oh praise the Lord for His wonderful love.
Signs now happening tell me Jesus will soon come
And take His true Bride to her Heavenly Home
Caught up together after the Saints who’ve gone before
And meet our dear Lord, whom we all do adore
If you are not one of that number who are ready to go
But would be left down here in your sin and your woe
Repent now, and be ready for that wonderful day
When the Saints of this earth are all gone away.

Oh how precious are the memories
Of my Parents here below,
How they loved and served their Saviour
Whom they trusted long ago.
Now they’re gone to be with Jesus
To that Home so bright and fair,
And I’m waiting for my Saviour
To be with them over there.
Will you come and join that number
Who before God’s Throne will stand?
If you’re Blood-washed and forgiven
You will too be in that Land.

Precious Saviour my Friend divine
How I love to call Him mine
Serve Him daily along life’s way
Near His side forever stay
As a lamb to Calvary Jesus was led
His precious Blood for sinners He shed
The debt of sin He fully paid
Then the third day rose from the dead.
Precious Promises pure and sweet
I love to sit at Jesus’ feet
Learn from His Word and pray to Him
Having been made free from all sin
Precious day when He’ll call me Home
And that glad day is coming soon
Then up in Glory I shall appear
With my dear Saviour forever near

Time is swiftly passing away
With each night and fresh new day
Remember what God’s Word does say
That Jesus is the only Way
All our sins on Him were laid
And the debt of sin He paid
Through His precious Blood He shed
Accept Him as your living Head.
So come to Jesus and be free
Accept His love, He died for thee
And when TIME has ceased to be
We’ll be with Him for Eternity.

Thank Thee Lord for dying for me
From all my sins to set me free
As I walk the narrow way
Help me dear Lord with Thee to stay.
In all I think, say and do
Help me Lord to Thee be true
As I walk this world below
Fill me Lord to overflow.
When my work on earth is done
Thou wilt take me to Thy Home
There with Thee ever to abide

Life is short, but death is sweet
When I know dear Jesus I’ll meet
And my Parents gone before
They have reached that golden Shore
All who in Jesus have believed
And into their hearts they have received,
All who walk the narrow way
Will reach Heaven one glad day.
There we’ll be for evermore
As we come through Heaven’s door,
And we’ll be forever blest
Praising God with all the rest
Don’t miss out on this event,
You know that Hell cannot be spent,
So trust in Jesus this very day
To take all your sins away.

When I think of Heaven above
And my Saviour the Son of Love
How I love to serve Him here
And He fills my heart with cheer
Then I surely will rejoice
When I hear my Saviour’s voice
And see His lovely face above
In that Land of peace and love.
There we’ll feast around His Throne
All His loved ones who are His own
And we’ll drink pure water up there
With out loved ones we will share.
Then to that Land prepare to come
Where there’s no need of moon or sun
For Jesus is the Light we read
So to His word do now take heed.

The plan of God is sweet to me
How Jesus came to
From all our sins to set us free
And live with Him for Eternity.
And while on earth we here do dwell
We must to others, of His love to tell
How He has done all things well
To save us from an awful Hell.
So speak for Jesus day by day
As people come across your way
Read God’s Word and always pray
And any burden at His feet do lay

As Christmas times comes round each year
We do remember with good cheer
How to this world the Saviour dear
Came from Heaven to save us here
Accept the Saviour and let Him in
To your heart, and be cleansed from sin
Then His perfect peace you’ll win
And to Heaven some others bring
The joyful will your Christmas be
If from sin you are set free
And in Heaven you sure will see

Time which started long ago
Soon is coming to an end
For the Saviour Jesus Christ
Is soon coming back again
Two thousand years ago, the first time
He came the Saviour of mankind
But this time as Judge He’s coming
To those who are left behind.
So “BE READY” my dear Reader
As these solemn words I pen
Take Jesus as your Lord and Saviour
And you’ll not be left behind
This year which started months ago
Now is coming to an end
Many have given their lives to Jesus
And have found Him such a Friend
